Unquestionably Questionable Content

Since I'm just hangin' out around the house this morning, waiting to go to a dentist appointment, I thought this would be a good time to hatch another theme to twist somebody into throwin' the flag.

Before moving on please understand this post is for advanced readers only. By advanced I mean somebody who can follow simple directions. You're going to need to put forth a little effort to get this one. Why? Because that's the way some jokes work. First, you set the joke up. Second, you tag it. Timing is everything and for the life of me I can't figure out another way to do this. So play along if you like but BEWARE you might find this objectionable, and if you do, please return and flag this blog.

Step 1: Send an e-mail to tepy@sbcglobal.net, in the subject line answer the question "Why does a dog lick its balls?1"
Step 2: Sit back, relax, and wait for the fun. I'll e-mail you back if you have the correct answer.2

  1. If you really don't know the answer here's a hint "Because it ___!"
  2. Does anyone know how to get Evolution 2.2 to autoreply based on subject line?

Hey Blogger, Flag This!

Please understand I'm not one of those dedicated daily blogger types. I might go a month or two before I feel the need to vent via the Ol' blog. In fact it was just yesterday I noticed a new addition to Blogger. Of course I'm talking about the addition of the Flag option. "Flag As Objectionable" is how Blogger refers to the new option and goes on to state ...

"... a means by which readers of Blog*Spot can help inform us about potentially questionable content, so we can prevent others from encountering such material by setting particular blogs as "unlisted." This means the blog won't be promoted on Blogger.com but will still be available on the web — we prefer to keep in mind that one person's vulgarity is another's poetry. Or something like that."

To me this smells like another worthy goal in the life of tepy at houston lake.

The goal will be to have this blog flagged as objectionable without posting pictures of George Bush, Bill Clinton, or my first wife. Far too many people find at least one of these objectionable. Furthermore, each post will have one story, blurb, or theme written to twist some specific personality type into throwing the flag. The fun will come when you, the reader, discover yourself clickin' the flag. Enjoy!

This Post's Flag Twister - Too Easy

My first wife reminds of the kind of woman who would use a spermicide. Not to kill the sperm mind you, but just to keep those weeds down.

CANCELED

Due to recent and really unexpected events ... tepy's Review of the Linux/Gnome Solution has been CANCELED, tepy at houston lake will need to move on to other things. Furthermore, all previously published blogs on this subject have been deleted.

Stay tuned for my next series "Little Michael Dell and the HP Rebuttal." Waddaya think?
